H2O Rx custom build a range of static mixers - wafer-style, variable flow, low headloss, and open channel mixers - in many materials and sizes to suit fluid applications in most industries.
K Value (kV) for headloss coefficient, Coefficient of Variation (CoV) for amount of mixing, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) reports, white papers, and material certificates are available for all H2O Rx's static mixers to ensure that you are confident in each mixer for your application.
H2O Rx is the exclusive Australian licensee and distributor of the Westfall Manufacturing range of static mixers manufactured in both Australia and USA.
Types of Static Mixers
There are seven varieties of static mixer in the range. These are:
Series 2800 Wafer-Style Static Mixer – standard mixer that slots between two flanges for space saving mixing and low material costs. Excellent mixing, completes within 10 pipe diameters.
Series 2850 Flanged Wafer-Style Static Mixer – special purpose or retrofit replacement. A full body or “double flanged” variant that can be multistage if required. Excellent mixing, completes within 10 pipe diameters.
Series 2900 Variable Flow Static Mixer – for extreme ranges of flow where process rates vary significantly. Excellent mixing, completes within 10 pipe diameters.
Series 3050 Low Headloss Mixer – designed for installations where pressure drop must be minimised but mixing remains critical.
Series 4000 Open Channel Mixer - a low headloss mixer specifically designed for open channels which allows for a flatter hydraulic grade line to maximise mixing without high pressure.
Series 5000 Open Channel Mixer - a low headloss mixer where the fins are bolted directly into the floor of an open channel.
Series 6000 Counter Swirl Rapid Mixer – short laying length with reduced headloss, delivering excellent mixing within just 3 pipe diameters.
7000 Series Static Mixer - a combination of the Series 2800 wafer-style and Series 3050 low headloss mixer designed for coagulant mixing.
